You are such a joy.
Many nights, like tonight, your Daddy and I put you to bed and we walk away from your dark room, after prayers and sweet goodnights and we say outloud to each other how lucky we are, as parents, to have you.
Thank you for being such an amazing little girl.

Angie,
I need ideas on what prayers to do with Ella. Do you have any? I grew up catholic and always said the "Now I lay,," one but I'm trying to think of some. :) Any helpful advice would be good. :)
Hey Kendra,
I'm Catholic and always remember my Mom saying The Lord's Prayer (Our father who art in Heaven...) with us so it's what I've been teaching Sofia. I think it sort of covers all bases!
We also say another prayer right after that Dan and I sort of made up as we went along that mentions family, friends, gives thanks, etc. and we've memorized it over time and just recently she's been repeating some of it with us. It is so joyous to hear! I think soon we'll ask her who/what she'd like to pray for and give thanks for on her own. But that will probably be later when she maybe understands the concept better.
Good luck!!! I love all the pics of Ella on the blog. She's so cute!!
